Job Summary: The Identification Office Supervisor reports to the Director, Airport Badging and Security and is responsible for performing supervisory and administrative duties in the Nashville International Airport's Identification Office. Performs related duties as required.
Essential Job Duties:
Trains, oversees, mentors and supervises the Security and Credential Generalist of the Identification Office. Evaluates employee performance on a regular basis, provides feedback, and alerts the Manager, Airport Security or recommends disciplinary action when appropriate.
Oversees the security identification process to include fingerprinting and issuance of identification access airport badges to Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) employees, tenants and contractors in compliance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations. In addition, makes recommendations to the Manager, Airport Security for approval and denial of additional access requests and deactivation and recovery of lost, stolen or terminated security and access media badges.
Assists and serves as alternate Airport Security Coordinator as required and in compliance with TSA Regulations.
Oversees electronic key and lock system for Air Operations Area (AOA) gates to include an annual audit in compliance with TSA regulations.
Maintains information in the ProWatch system for parking, security threat assessments and fingerprint background checks.
Performs daily checks of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) clearinghouse and fingerprint result distribution websites and collects results.
Submits fingerprints to the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) for filing, background checks, and verification.
Audits the criminal history record check findings and recommends further review of eligibility for a security badge. In addition, assists in auditing the security identification badges/access media on an annual basis.
Sets up and maintains the training schedule for Interactive Employee Training (IET) center. Prepares test booklets and supplies for Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) courses.
Assists the Director in developing and maintaining procedural manuals to ensure compliance with TSA regulations.
Assists the Director in the creation, review and modification of the Airport Security Program.
Assists the Manager in the creation of the Badging and Identification Office goals and objectives and monitoring of staff progress towards those goals and objectives.
Ensures maintenance of office equipment and supplies to keep office running efficiently.
Issues vehicle ramp decals to employees, tenants, and contractors.
Serves as an authorized signatory.
Performs file management and record keeping.
Processes invoices, credit, and check payments from customers for services and parking.
Monitors Identification Office budget.
Performs and supervises sharps inspections for all concessionaires as a requirement of the TSA.
Follows all safety regulations.
Maintains regular and on-time attendance.
Supports MNAA's commitment to its culture and values, including Respect, Integrity, Service and Innovation (RISE).
Performs other duties as assigned.

Database Management: Skill in establishing and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and other applicable computer software applications.
Cameras: Skill in using digital cameras.
Stability: Maintains emotional and mental stability in challenging situations.
Attention to Detail: Is careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.

2-4 years of airport or airline customer service experience.
