Job summary

Connections in Ohio, Inc. is seeking an energetic and passionate Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Team Leader.

This full-time role oversees training, staffing and operations for one to two sites, building a team of direct support professionals to deliver exceptional services. The position requires flexible scheduling including nights and weekends; starting wages are $22.50 per hour with a Team Leader in Training at $21.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a team of direct support professionals.
• Experience in staff training and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of operating and payroll processes.
• Excellent communication and problem solving for service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build a well functioning team of direct support professionals to ensure high quality services.
• 24/7 on-call responsibilities for one to three homes with an every-other weekend on-call rotation (6 days per month off call).
• Oversee staffing, payroll, and financial management of each home.
• Provide direct support to the individuals we serve.
• Provide training to direct support professionals on each individual's support plans and ensure these plans are followed.
• Oversee employee training, staffing and certifications per company policies.
• Address policy, procedure and disciplinary questions and ensure timely performance evaluations.
