Job summary

Connections in Ohio, Inc. is seeking an energetic Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Team Leader to oversee training, staffing, and operation of one to two homes, building a cohesive team of direct support professionals to provide exceptional services.

The role includes 24/7 on-call responsibilities for one to three homes, with every other weekend on-call rotation. The position requires a valid Ohio driver's license, a vehicle, and insurance, plus a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age required.
• Must have a working vehicle for job-related transportation.
• Valid auto insurance for vehicle.
• Ohio Driver's License with 4 points or less.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background checks as per industry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a high-performing team of direct support professionals for one to three homes.
• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage for one to three homes with every other weekend on-call rotation (6 days per month off call).
• Ensure operations needs are met: staffing, payroll, and financial management of each home.
• Provide direct support to individuals served.
• Train direct support professionals on each individual’s support plans and ensure adherence.
• Oversee employee training, staffing, and certifications per company policies.
