Job summary
The Potomac Center/SETT facility in Hagerstown, MD, is seeking a qualified Nursing Assistant to provide person-centered support to adults with intellectual disabilities. You will deliver direct care, maintain safety, and document activities in accordance with state regulations.
Candidates must hold a current Maryland CNA certification; substitution options include college credits or related degrees with clinical practicum.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current Nursing Assistant certification from the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
- Experience providing direct client services in developmental disability or behavior modification setting preferred.
- Substitution options allow 60 college credits plus related experience or an AA/BA with specialization in developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist persons served to meet personal outcomes and IP goals.
- Complete in-service training and demonstrate competencies including CNA responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations governing care and safety.
- Provide quality services in equipment use, data collection, personal hygiene, and programming.
- Support growth by aligning new skills with IP goals.
