Job summary

Potomac Center/SETT in Hagerstown, MD seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide person-centered care for adults with intellectual disabilities. You will support residents in daily activities, assist with IP goals, and participate in ongoing training to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience providing direct client services in a developmental disability or similar behavior modification setting.
• Substitutions: 60 college credits with 15 credits in health/ human services/ education/ behavioral sciences plus one year relevant experience.
• Alternative substitutions: AA or BA with specialization in treatment of developmental disabilities in mental health or related curriculum with practicum.

Responsibilities

• Help each person served meet personal outcomes.
• Complete all in-service training modules (classroom, competencies, CNA).
• Fully comply with policies and procedures for individual care and IP goals.
• Provide quality services in equipment use, data collection, personal hygiene, and programming.
• Match skills to IP goals to support growth and development of persons served.
• Adhere to all regulations, standards, and certification requirements in Maryland and at Potomac Center/SETT.
