Qualifications

• Experience with I/DD population or related care setting is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Strong verbal communication and empathy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking.
• Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene.
• Provide community recreational activities when available.
• Provide and participate in in-home leisure activities.
• Documentation of activities.
• Help residents develop healthy social habits.
• Dispense medication and monitor dosages.
• Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van.
