Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Program Director for IDD Services in Fort Walton Beach, FL. You will lead 1–4 community programs, guide direct supports, person-centered planning, regulatory compliance, and staffing while ensuring quality services and a safe environment.

You will supervise program staff, handle hiring and salary decisions, and be on-call to cover shifts as needed. A strong background in human services with a bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related Human Services experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 1–4 community programs with person-centered planning.
• Manage program staff including evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make hiring, promotion, salary change, and termination recommendations.
• Ensure services are delivered consistently, engaging, and aligned with individuals' needs.
• Provide on-call support to staff as needed.
