RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring an IDD Nurse (LPN) in Tennessee. The role provides holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and supports the Interdisciplinary Team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
• Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
• Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Effective communication with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families.
• Ability to work independently, be organized, and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with IDD.
• Assist RN in delivering quality nursing services to persons supported.
• Administer medications and treatments or assist with medication administration.
• Assist with scheduling preventative and routine medical appointments.
• Document health data and report abnormal findings to the physician.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Must be able to pull a minimum of 25 pounds. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
