RHA Health Services, LLC in Goldsboro, NC is seeking an IDD Facility Nurse (RN) or (LPN) for an on-site, full-time role at Walnut Creek ICF – Children & Adults. Compensation: $32–$38/hour with a $6,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule: 7am–7pm, every other weekend off. You will provide holistic nursing oversight, monitor health needs, and coordinate care for individuals with IDD and mental health or substance use challenges.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program.
• Active, unrestricted nursing license.
• Strong communication with interdisciplinary team and families.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized with priorities.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with IDD.
• Observe, assess, and evaluate health needs of individuals supported.
• Deliver health-related training to unlicensed personnel.
• Educate individuals on monitoring their own health and self-administration training.
• Administer medications and treatments or assist self-administration.
• Ensure preventative medical appointments are scheduled and maintained.
• Conduct medication closet assessments and QA checks.
• Collect and document health-related data and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor for abnormal findings and report to physicians promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, and IDT; advocate for individuals.
• Develop community supports to promote health and independence.
