No relocation packaged offered.**As a nurse with RHA will have an opportunity to practice holistic nursing and to positively impact the lives of others by providing healthcare oversight and monitoring for the people we serve. **Job Responsibilities*** Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities* Observe, assess, and evaluate the health needs or the people we support* Provide health related training to unlicensed personnel* Teach the people we serve to monitor their health and provide medication administration training to the people we serve when appropriate* Administer medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administration* Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled* Conduct medication closest assessments* Perform quality assurance checks and observations to ensure unlicensed personnel are performing health related tasks as assigned* Collect health related data* Conduct nursing assessments* Observe for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physician* Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team* Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported**Requirements*** Graduation from an accredited registered nurse program* BSN preferred, but not required* Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.* Must be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families* Must be able to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasks* Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification**Why Should You Apply?*** Ability to help others and make a difference* Ability to join a team of dedicated caregivers, where you will be a valued member of a care team, enabling people RHA supports identify and achieve personal goals, experience, meaningful days, participated in the community, and live more independently.
