Job summary

Caregiver is seeking an ISS Manager to oversee the daily operations of our day habilitation program for individuals with IDD. You will supervise staff, ensure quality services, and maintain compliance while creating a safe, engaging environment where participants can build skills and achieve personal goals.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, prior supervisory experience, and familiarity with documentation requirements and state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with IDD required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of documentation requirements and regulatory standards.
• Ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment.
• Must pass background check and meet all state agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in daily program operations.
• Ensure individuals receive quality services aligned with person-centered plans.
• Monitor program activities to maintain health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Train, coach, and schedule staff to ensure appropriate coverage and performance.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and incident follow-up in a timely manner.
• Communicate with families, interdisciplinary teams, and agency leadership regarding participant progress and program needs.
• Support implementation of individual goals, behavior plans, and community-based activities.
• Maintain compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
