Job summary

Merakey is seeking an Administrator Day Program in Chico, CA to oversee the daily operations of an Adult Day Program serving individuals with IDD. The role ensures high-quality service delivery, staff supervision, and compliance in a person-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with individuals with IDD.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of behavior supports, compliance, and program operations.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day program operations, including scheduling, staffing, and community-based activities.
• Supervise and provide leadership to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Lead DSPs.
• Ensure implementation of individual service plans, behavior plans, and program documentation.
• Provide hands-on support and coaching to staff in direct care, behavior management, and skill development.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (Title 17/22) and Merakey policies.
• Support program administration, including documentation, reporting, and oversight of individual funds.
• Partner with Program Director and interdisciplinary team to drive quality outcomes.
• Foster a collaborative, positive team environment and address staffing needs proactively.
