Job summary

Lakesregional is seeking an IDD Provider Specialist to implement and evaluate therapeutic activities for individuals with developmental disabilities in ISS and residential settings. You will collaborate with care coordinators and families, document services daily, and support health and safety needs.

The role involves direct care, training in activities of daily living, and participation in an interdisciplinary team to foster a safe, engaging environment for people served.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to assess classroom effectiveness and implement changes.
• Good communication with individuals, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Implement and evaluate therapeutic programs and plan individual activities.
• Maintain daily documentation of services and ensure safety procedures.
• Provide direct care including daily living activities and health-related tasks.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team as needed.
• Assist with transportation, housekeeping, and medication monitoring as required.
