Job summary

Pinecrest Supports and Services Center seeks a dedicated IDD Associate Administrator 2 to oversee the Day Program and Employment Services departments, coordinating with the Director to ensure quality services for residents.

The role directs the Active Treatment/IDD Professionals program, develops active treatment plans, and provides oversight to population-specific treatment programs, ensuring accreditation readiness and high standards of care.

Qualifications

  • Seven years of experience in health services or developmentally disabled services, hospital administration, social services, psychology, or special education; OR
  • Six years of full-time work experience plus four years of experience in health services or developmentally disabled services, hospital administration, social services, psychology, or special education; OR
  • A bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in health services or developmentally disabled services, hospital administration, social services, psychology, or special education; OR
  • An advanced degree in health administration, hospital administration, special education, psychology, or social work plus three years of experience in health services or developmentally disabled services, hospital administration, social services, psychology, or special education.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, directs, and controls several divisions of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center: Residential Services, Active Treatment services, Day Program services, and Psychological services.
  • Prepares a variety of reports pertaining to services to clients including residential, psychological, social services, active treatment, recreation, speech and hearing, abuse/neglect, incident management, vocational, dietary and medical as well as a variety of reports pertaining to employees including staff training, employee turnover, abuse/neglect, employee survey responses, etc. for review by the CEO and officials at LDH.
  • Participate as a member of the facility Executive Staff to plan, implement, and monitor the facility's strategic initiatives. Participate in education trainings that are mandatory for accreditation and licensure of the facility. Performs all other duties assigned by the supervisor/designee to maintain continuity and quality, accreditation and licensure requirements.
  • Performs all other duties assigned by supervisor, but not listed, for the smooth operation of the unit/building and/or the facility. Adheres to all rules, regulations, policies and procedures of State Civil Service, LDH, OCDD, and Pinecrest Supports and Services Center. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Administrator to support the Agency and/or the people we serve.

Job description

The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people withintellectual anddevelopmental disabilitiesto reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs.

Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated IDD Associate Administrator 2 to join our dynamic team. Here, you will oversee the operation of the Day Program Department and Employment Services Department. Coordinates with the Director of these departments to ensure that quality services are being provided to residents. Responsible for the operation of the facility's Active Treatment/Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professionals program, which develops, implements, monitors, and revises, as necessary, all residents' individualized active treatment programs as well as providing oversight and direction to the facility's population-specific treatment programs.

  • Seven years of experience in health services or developmentally disabled services, hospital administration, social services, psychology, or special education; OR
  • Six years of full-time work experience plus four years of experience in health services or developmentally disabled services, hospital administration, social services, psychology, or special education; OR
  • A bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in health services or developmentally disabled services, hospital administration, social services, psychology, or special education; OR

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full‑time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties

Plans, organizes, directs, and controls several programs at the facility including the Safety Program, Risk Management Program, Protection-From-Harm Program, Active Treatment Program, and the Title XIX Survey Readiness, Management, and Response Program. Direct supervisor of two IDD Program Directors and Psychologist 5.
  • Prepares a variety of reports pertaining to services to clients including residential, psychological, social services, active treatment, recreation, speech and hearing, abuse/neglect, incident management, vocational, dietary and medical as well as a variety of reports pertaining to employees including staff training, employee turnover, abuse/neglect, employee survey responses, etc. for review by the CEO and officials at LDH.

Position-Specific Details

Department: LDH Pinecrest

Appointment Type: This position may be filled by Detail to Special Duty, Probation, Job Appointment, Promotion, Demotion, or Lateral Transfer. Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.

Work Schedule: Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
