Job summary

GHD is seeking a Field Environmental/Scientist/Engineer to provide on-site environmental compliance monitoring for a major mine infrastructure project in Idaho. Work consists of 14 days on site with 7 days off, 10–12 hour rotations, with on-site accommodations, meals, and per diem provided.

Candidate will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and safety professionals to maintain high safety and environmental standards while supporting large-scale mining and infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, environmental science, or closely related field.
• 3+ years of technical experience in environmental compliance or construction monitoring.
• Willingness to travel and work in remote field environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time field environmental compliance monitoring for a major mine infrastructure project.
• Ensure construction activities meet environmental permits, regulatory requirements, and client standards.
• Lead safety actions, site inspections, FORs, and JSEA hazard assessments.
