Job summary

Mister Kleen Maintenance Company seeks a Commercial Cleaning Technician for part-time on-call shifts in Alexandria, VA. The role runs 5pm to 9pm with compensation at USD 21.90 per hour.

The Technician will perform cleaning duties across high-security and commercial facilities, following safety policies and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include disinfecting common areas, dusting and scrubbing surfaces, bathroom cleaning, restocking supplies, and waste removal.

• Emptying and disposing of trash and recycling bins.
• Vacuuming, mopping, dust mopping, sweeping and scrubbing floors.
• Cleaning furniture, fixtures, and elevators; windows and glass partitions.

Position Objective

Due to continued growth, Mister Kleen Maintenance Company, a leading provider of contract cleaning services to high-security and commercial facilities, is seeking a Commercial Cleaning Technician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Disinfecting and sanitizing common areas and high-touch points
• High and low dusting, scrubbing, and polishing
• Cleaning bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors
• Restocking supplies and inventory
• Emptying and disposing of trash and recycling bins
• Vacuuming, mopping, dust mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing floors
• Cleaning and polishing furniture, fixtures, and elevators
• Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors

Physical demands may include the following on a regular basis:

• Walking and standing
• Climbing
• Bending forward
• Wearing hip/backpack vacuum
• Reaching, grasping, pushing, and pulling
• Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, sometimes over the shoulder
