Job summary

Mister Kleen Maintenance Company in Alexandria, VA, is seeking a Commercial Cleaning Technician to join our contract cleaning team serving high-security and commercial facilities. The role focuses on disinfecting, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking supplies.

Schedule: 8am–5:30pm on Mon, Wed and Fri for 4 hours. Compensation: USD 17.00 per hour. This non-exempt, part-time position requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety and excellent customer service.

• Disinfecting and sanitizing common areas and high-touch points
• High and low dusting, scrubbing, and polishing

• Emptying and disposing of trash and recycling bins
• Vacuuming, mopping, dust mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing floors
• Cleaning and polishing furniture, fixtures, and elevators
• Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors

Position Objective

Due to continued growth, Mister Kleen Maintenance Company, a leading provider of contract cleaning services to high-security and commercial facilities, is seeking a Commercial Cleaning Technician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Disinfecting and sanitizing common areas and high-touch points
• High and low dusting, scrubbing, and polishing
• Cleaning bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors
• Restocking supplies and inventory
• Emptying and disposing of trash and recycling bins
• Vacuuming, mopping, dust mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing floors
• Cleaning and polishing furniture, fixtures, and elevators
• Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors

Physical demands may include the following on a regular basis:

• Walking and standing
• Climbing
• Bending forward
• Wearing hip/backpack vacuum
• Reaching, grasping, pushing, and pulling
• Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, sometimes over the shoulder
