Michigan State University’s MSU IT department seeks an ID Administrator to join the ID Office team. You will help create, manage, and verify identity credentials for students, staff, retirees, and affiliates, provisioning NetIDs and ID cards with attention to security and accuracy.
You will work independently with customers and internal staff, analyzing problems of moderate complexity while delivering excellent service.

MSU IT is seeking a qualified individual to become a member of the ID Office team of professionals responsible for ensuring proper identity credentials creation, management, and verification based on best practices for provisioning NetIDs and ID cards for students, staff, employees, retirees, and affiliates of the university.
The person in this role works independently with customers and internal MSU staff to analyze problems and needs of technical complexity, while providing excellent customer service to the MSU Community.
This position is a Monday – Friday, 8 am-5 pm position.

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an information technology area related to the duties to be performed; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
More than two years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an enterprise organization; Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of technology users; high level of customer relationship skills; excellent troubleshooting skills; strong written and verbal communication; experience in use of MSU identity and access management systems and Service Desk. Attention to detail. Ability to contribute to a high performing team environment.
