Job summary

VCA Dallas Animal Specialty Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ICU team. The role requires 3 years of veterinary medicine experience, with ICU or specialty experience preferred. Location: Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• 3 years of veterinary medicine experience required.
• ICU or specialty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor anesthesia and recovery.
• Perform venipuncture and IV placement.
• Maintain central line and chest tube care where applicable.
• Administer injections (SQ, IV, IM) and calculate drug doses.
• Obtain and submit lab samples and maintain medical records.
• Provide client education and compassionate care.
