Quakertown Veterinary Clinic, a 24-hour hospital in Quakertown, PA, is seeking an experienced ICU Veterinary Technician to provide advanced nursing care to hospitalized and critically ill patients. This full-time role requires confidence in managing complex cases with limited supervision and strong documentation skills.

Ideal candidates will have ICU/Emergency/Critical Care experience and CVT/LVT/RVT credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICU, emergency, or critical care settings.
• Advanced patient assessment and nursing skills.
• Comfort caring for unstable, critically ill patients.
• Ability to manage medications, fluid therapy, and advanced treatments.
• Strong recordkeeping and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care for hospitalized and critically ill patients.
• Perform frequent patient assessments and recognize changes in status.
• Place and maintain IV catheters and administer meds.
• Monitor patients and assist with emergency stabilization and procedures.
• Maintain detailed medical records and communicate with veterinarians.
