Job summary
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Critical Care RN for immediate travel assignment in Harbor City, California.

ICU/CCU experience, BLS/ACLS preferred, 1+ year in critical care, and ability to adapt quickly are valued.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of recent experience in this specialty and setting
- Valid nursing license as required by this state
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required

Responsibilities
- ICU nurses specialize in treating critically ill patients in general intensive care units, post-op units, burn units, and other specialized, intensive care units.
- Most Critical Care travel positions are in hospitals, but ICU RNs can choose from many different subspecialties.
- An important function of Critical Care nurses is to provide education and support to patients and their families.
