Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, in partnership with Lifepoint Health, invites skilled travel nurses to join a community hospital in Somerset, KY for 8, 10, or 13 week assignments. This role emphasizes patient care across acute settings with competitive weekly pay and housing options.

You'll provide plan of care, medication administration, and inter-disciplinary collaboration to support safe, quality patient outcomes. English communication and professional licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Commitment to compliance policies.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate appropriately to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient/family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
