Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, in partnership with Lifepoint Health, invites qualified travel nurses to join a community hospital in Mayfield, KY for 8, 10, or 13 week assignments. You will provide age-appropriate nursing care, administer medications, monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes while meeting licensure and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given.
• Monitor, records, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Evaluate learner needs of patient and family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
