Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse (RN) for Columbus, OH. This 13-week assignment requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, ACLS/BLS/NIH, and a 12-hour night shift schedule totaling 36 hours per week.

Start date is ASAP, with travel responsibilities to support ICU patient care in Columbus. Responsibilities include bedside care, administering medications, ordering and interpreting tests, and communicating patient conditions to families.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required.
• Start Date: ASAP.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• 36 hours per week.
• Shift: 12 hours, nights.
• Employment Type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting.
• Provide direct nursing care in life-threatening situations.
• Document and implement patient care plans as directed by physicians.
• Educate and support patients' families and coordinate with care teams.
• Perform basic bedside care and administer prescribed medications.
