Job summary

Vetted Health is seeking a RN - ICU for a travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois. This 13-week contract requires 36 hours per week with 13-hour shifts, starting ASAP. The role involves ICU patient care, medication administration, and care coordination with the team.

Eligible candidates have 2+ years of ICU experience and hold an RN license. Travel nursing experience is a plus; housing stipends and travel assistance are included in the benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICU nursing experience.
• Licensed registered nurse (RN).
• Experience with travel nursing assignments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support safe transitions of care, including handoffs and care plan updates.
• Educate patient and family about the plan of care and discharge needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor patient response.
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress in the medical record.
• Work 36 hours per week on 13-hour shifts; ensure continuity of care.
