Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse for a travel assignment in Mattoon, IL. The RN will provide direct critical care in the ICU, support families, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans on a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Experience 1–2 years in acute care is required; ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are preferred. The position offers travel compensation and a tax-free stipend as part of the package.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.
• ICU RN, responsible for critical patient care and documentation.
• Nurses must be able to work 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor critically ill patients.
• Administer and document prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs; monitor equipment and alarms.
• Communicate patient conditions to family members and care team.
