Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse for a travel nursing job in Bowling Green, KY. RNs will evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting, provide family education, and ensure high-quality direct care on a 12-hour night shift during a 13-week assignment.

Immediate start and tax-free stipends may apply. Candidates should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and hold ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certifications.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, 2 Years of experience required.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in the ICU.
• Provide education and support to patient families.
• Perform basic bedside care and document patient conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Order/assess diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Monitor equipment and ensure proper line/catheter functioning.
• Communicate patient status to family members.
