Job summary
Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for an ICU travel assignment in Sonora, CA. The 13-week contract starts 09/28/2026 with guaranteed hours and a night shift (3x12s) from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM at a Short Term Acute Care Hospital.
The nurse will deliver coordinated care, supervise staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining EPIC documentation and patient safety. California RN license and BLS required.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications required.
- Minimum of two years of recent ICU or acute care nursing experience.
- EPIC experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to standards and nursing process.
- Supervise and direct nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Collect data, assess health status, analyze findings, and develop a plan of care.
- Coordinate care delivery and promote patient safety, including discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families; delegate tasks and supervise the care team.
- Maintain documentation in EPIC and adhere to infection control and safety standards.
