Job summary

Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, WA, is seeking an ICU/Telemetry RN for night shifts. The nurse will assess and deliver direct patient care, supervise support staff, and educate patients and families to support continuity of care.

Required are a WA RN license, BLS, ACLS and NIHSS; two years hospital experience preferred. Night and on-call premiums apply; stand-by and certification bonuses are listed in the pay plan.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited school of nursing.
• Two years in a hospital setting preferred.
• Current Washington State RN license with required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care of ICU/Telemetry patients.
• Promote continuity of care and supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, CNAs and staff.
• Interpret information to identify patient age-specific needs and provide family teaching.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing and support a positive image of OMC.
• Occasionally work irregular hours as needed.
