Job summary
Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for Per Diem Nights in the Stepdown/ICU unit. You will care for adult and geriatric patients using the Nursing Process and supervise nursing staff under the Director of Critical Care Services.
Requirements include CA RN license, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days, and CCRN preferred. Per diems enjoy comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities within a large healthcare
Qualifications
- One year ICU/StepDown/PCU experience preferred
- Current California RN license required
- Current BLS (AHA) required, ACLS (AHA) required within 90 days of start
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire required
- Basic Arrhythmia Certificate or 12-Lead EKG Certificate preferred
- CCRN preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in ICU/Stepdown using the Nursing Process
- Supervise nursing personnel across all categories
- Maintain nursing practice standards and optimal patient outcomes
- Report to and collaborate with the Director of Critical Care Services
