Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years in ICU or step-down.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Shift flexibility to include days, nights, and weekends.
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, lab results, and overall condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide updates on patients' conditions.
• Educate patients and their families about their care plan and any necessary lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
• Document all patient care and interactions accurately and thoroughly.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
