Job summary

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team and medical providers. The RN will model the nursing care framework and advocate for patients and families to support outcomes.

Responsibilities include documenting care, teaching patients about conditions and follow-up, and participating in evidence-based practice improvements to ensure exceptional care across departments.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and care team.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up care.
• Contributes to evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement to meet quality measures.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate and deliver holistic patient treatment plans.
