Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for a seasonal per diem role in nursing services. The RN will provide patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients, with focus on holistic assessment and ongoing evaluation of the plan of care.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, equipment operation, and education for peers, patients, and families. Requires Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS; NIHSS training preferred; at least 2 years ICU experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations and learning systems that offer courses from the American Heart Association.
• CCRN Preferred
• At least 2 years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Patient Centered Care for an assigned group of patients within nursing services.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care with a holistic view.
• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing reassessments to meet patient care outcomes.
• Ensure accurate documentation and proper supplies; operate equipment as needed.
• Act as educator to peers, patients, and families; support service excellence and a healing environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
