Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a seasonal per diem ICU role in Florida. Must hold a Florida RN license with BLS and ACLS, and have a minimum of 2 years ICU experience. The assignment runs from October 2026 through May 2027 with a minimum of three shifts per week.

The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with the nursing team, and follow established standards and procedures to meet patient care outcomes across an assigned unit.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Florida
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations and learning systems that offer courses from the American Heart Association.
• CCRN Preferred
• At least 2 years of ICU experience

Responsibilities

• The RN plans, directs, and evaluates nursing care while providing a holistic view, which may include dimensions of physical, developmental, emotional, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and functional status.
• Assessment involves the orderly collection of information to develop a comprehensive Standard of Care to meet identified patient care outcomes and evaluate effectiveness of a nursing plan of care.
• Established nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures will be followed in administering nursing care.
• Initial assessments provide a baseline for future comparisons that can be made in order to individualize care.
• Ongoing assessment and reassessment are required to meet the patient’s changing needs.
