Mercy Washington is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN position in Missouri. You will join a 19-bed ICU/TCU, collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and fellow nurses in a fast-paced critical care setting.

The role offers flexible scheduling, shift options, and opportunities to maintain and expand ICU skills while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to critically ill patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Current RN License (Missouri or Compact State License).
• Previous ICU/CC/Stepdown/Acute Care experience preferred.
• Strong Critical Thinking and Clinical Assessment Skills.
• Excellent Communication and Teamwork Abilities.
• Ability to Adapt Quickly in Fast-Paced Clinical Environments.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring critically ill patients and those in transition.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Managing acute and high-acuity situations.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Supporting patients transitioning from ICU to lower-acuity care.
• Delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to improve outcomes.
