Job summary

Mercy Washington is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN shifts in the Washington, Missouri ICU/TCU. You will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients, using advanced assessment, clinical judgment, and coordination with an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will be a BSN‑prepared RN with Missouri (or Compact) licensure, ICU/CCU experience, strong critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Current RN License (Missouri or Compact State License).
• Experience in ICU, Critical Care, Progressive Care, Stepdown, or Acute Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Manage acute and critical patient situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Support patient transitions from ICU to lower-acuity care.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to improve outcomes.
