Job summary

Mesa View Regional Hospital in Mesquite, Nevada is seeking an ICU RN who uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality critical care for patients. As a patient advocate, you coordinate the patient’s care through collaboration and appropriate delegation.

You provide age-specific nursing care, monitor physiologic changes, take action, document findings, and participate in cross-department float coverage during high census.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Nevada RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• 2 years ICU nursing experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Float to other departments during high census.
• Document patient status and responses.
• Educate patients and families about care.
