Job summary

Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a newly opened 18-bed ICU. The role supports patients on vents and insulin drips, with a 1:2/3 nurse-to-patient ratio and a collaborative team including physicians.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, BLS within 30 days, and 1–2 years of Med/Surg experience. This is a PRN, in-person position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1–2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation in the medical record.
