Job summary

Saint Peter's Health Care System in New Jersey is seeking an ICU RN for per diem daytime shifts. The Magnet designation reflects nursing excellence; our team values collaboration and high-quality patient care on the ICU.

The ICU RN Per Diem Days will assess patients, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with the nursing team according to Standards of Care. NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, ECG, and CC courses are required or oriented.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in New Jersey.
• 1 year experience preferred; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, ECG, and Critical Care courses completed during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine health status per Nursing Standards.
• Ensure procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies per policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.

The ICU RN Per Diem Days will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• One (1) year of experience preferredBSN preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation
• Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation

Salary Range:56.00 - 56.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full‑time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
