Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICU RN experience, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient assessment and planning using the nursing process across GI, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal and neuro status.
• Documents care plans, promotes safety and ensures patient and family understanding of care.
• Coordinates with physicians and health team members to implement procedures and treatments.
• Delegates tasks and directs care on the unit while providing emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintains accurate documentation of treatment, activity and patient response, and participates in discharge planning.
