Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs age-specific nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinates patient care with physicians and health team members.
• Owns and directs patient care activities on the unit, delegating as appropriate.
• Documents care, treatments and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Provides discharge planning and patient/family education as needed.
• Ensures safety precautions and aseptic techniques throughout care.
