Job summary

Allegheny Health Network's Allegheny General Hospital is seeking an ICU RN to provide care for critically ill patients within the PDP Team 1 ICU. The role includes rotating shifts, weekend/holiday coverage per policy, and mentorship to other nurses.

The position is casual, with responsibilities spanning assessment, care planning, and collaboration across the care team. Active PA RN licensure (or multi-state via eNLC) and CPR/ACLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years acute care nursing experience in ICU.
• Current State of PA RN licensure OR current multi-state licensure through eNLC.
• CPR – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for designated patient population using nursing process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for care plan from admission to discharge.
• Assess learning needs of patient and family and provide education as appropriate.
