Job summary

Allegheny Health Network’s Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh is seeking an ICU RN for the PDP Team 1 ICU. This casual, unionized position features 24-hour shifts every two weeks and rotation with weekends/holidays per policy. You will provide care to critically ill patients, perform nursing process steps, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. 3 years ICU experience and PA RN licensure with ACLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years acute care ICU experience.
• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Act 34/33/73 background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical assessment and care planning.
• Provides safe care for critically ill patients.
• Directs and manages the activities of the patient care delivery by the team.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team for the plan of care from admission through discharge.
• Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education.
