Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute in Highland Park, IL is seeking an experienced RN for ICU coverage on a part-time schedule. The role is 24 hours per week from 7am-7:30pm with rotating weekends.

The ideal candidate holds Illinois RN licensure, ideally a BSN, and current BLS/CPR certification, with at least one year of hospital ICU experience preferred. Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care and supervising licensed staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Illinois RN licensure
BSN degree preferred
Basic Life Support / CPR certification required
Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients
Utilize nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care
Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high standards of practice
Take responsibility for nursing outcomes
Supervise unlicensed nursing staff in patient care delivery
Contribute to safety and quality patient experiences
