Job summary

SageWest Health Care in Lander, WY is seeking a qualified RN for full-time night shift to provide direct, high-level nursing care to critically ill patients. The role includes monitoring life support, wound care, and responding to changing patient conditions with advanced life support skills.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, education to families, and coordination of discharge planning with the care team. Sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold current BLS through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required for high-level care.
• PALS or ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans and evaluates patient care needs.
• Administers medications, changes dressings and monitors vital signs.
• Carries out physician orders and educates patients and families as needed.
• Monitors, records and communicates patient condition using computerized systems.
• Coordinates discharge planning with the healthcare team.
