Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System in New Jersey is seeking experienced ICU RNs to join our Magnet-designated, award-winning team for night shifts. You will provide direct patient care, assess and plan care, and mentor other staff in accordance with NJ Board of Nursing and ANA ethics.

BSN preferred or must be obtained within three years of hire; BLS/ACLS/ECG/Critical Care certifications required. Salary range $47–$62/hour with comprehensive benefits and tuition assistance.

The ICU RN Nights will:

• Assess the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Plan, implement and evaluate individualized care based on patient assessment and Multi-Disciplinary Plan of Care.
• Provide direct patient care or direction and supervision to other health team members to ensure proper implementation of care in accordance with the requirements of the NJ Board of Nursing, current regulatory guidelines, the ANA Code of Ethics and institutional policies and procedures.
• Teach patient/significant others about health/illness state and plan of care.
• Ensure that patient/significant others are prepared for discharge and health maintenance in the home setting.

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation
• Critical Care course completed during clinical orienation

Salary Range: 47.00 - 62.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
