Job summary

Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift on a part-time basis (<60 hrs). Responsibilities include delivering safe patient care in ICU, guiding patient/family teaching, and coordinating with physicians on changes in clinical condition. A valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, CC RN (preferred) and critical care training are requested.

Compensation ranges from $53.94 to $67.37 per hour, with benefits in a total rewards package. The exact starting compensation depends on experience and credentials at hire.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Maintains standards of care in the ICU and communicates changes to the physician.
