Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, seeks a Registered Nurse for night shifts in Encino, CA. You will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process and guide patient/family teaching while coordinating with physicians about changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license required.
• BLS certification required at hire and kept current.
• Critical Care Course completion preferred.
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire and kept current.
• Minimum one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital; CCU/ICU preferred.
• CCR N certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching.
• Direct and mentor other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, including monitoring and test results.

Education

BLS certificate

Critical Care Course

Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire

ACLS certificate

Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital

Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification

BSN preferred
