Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a registered nurse for night shift at Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, and support the care plan for ICU patients.

Responsibilities include documenting patient data, coordinating with physicians and the care team, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring safety and adherence to standards. Night shift requires 1+ year ICU experience and valid AZ RN license.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of med-surg or acute care experience required.
• RN experience for Float positions required (1 year).
• BLS certification required; active RN license in AZ upon hire.

Responsibilities

• The RN records patients' medical history and symptoms and helps perform diagnostic tests.
• Administers medications and manages IV lines as prescribed.
• Develops and contributes to care plans with patient family involvement.
• Precepts new hire staff and students; supports ongoing knowledge improvement.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.
• Maintains safety, effectiveness, and cost considerations in patient care.
