Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift. This full-time position offers a 36-hour work week, a $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced ICU nurses, and comprehensive benefits. Overtime opportunities and coverage across shifts are available for qualified candidates.

The RN will provide safe patient care, demonstrate leadership, and participate in stroke alert protocols and NIHSS assessments to support patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• BLS (current upon hire).
• ACLS, and/or required specialty training or course completion (or obtained within three months of employment).

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients per facility policies and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and activates stroke alert process.
• Performs and documents NIHSS and bedside swallow assessments and assists with thrombolytic therapy decisions where appropriate.
